The NorthEast Wisconsin DX Association (NEWDXA) was established in December 1993 by twenty-one amateurs from the region who shared an interest in the DX'ing aspect of amateur radio. Those individuals came together because of this interest and the additional shared interests in communicating with others, maintaining high operating and technical standards, and their passion for DX'ing.

The association continues to grow, as membership is now over eighty. Membership includes participants from Michigan, Idaho and California with the majority from Wisconsin. Membership is open to all licensed amateurs who have a serious interest in DX'ing, and meet membership guidelines. It is assumed that if the prospective member is interested in DX then NEWDXAhe/she is, or will be, working toward the ARRL DXCC and DXCC Honor Roll.
NEWDXA is recognized by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) as a viable DX association. NEWDXA is not affiliated with, or supported by, any local amateur radio club.

We strongly encourage you to contact our membership coordinator for additional information.
